Learning words can get students interested in teaching the origin of a word and its etymology.

Spell bee activity was conducted on19 May 2023, to help students gain competency over vocabulary and pronunciation. The students were given a word and they were asked to speak a word that begins with the last letter of the given word.

Students learnt about word roots and origins in this activity. Learning root words helped them to understand the meaning and grammatical function of every word. This activity also encouraged students to learn about the word components, usage and meaning.
