English Declamation

Class: VI to X

Public speaking is an effective tool for networking— a prerequisite to excel in personal as well as professional domain. According to a study we spend 30%of our communication time speaking. Thus it becomes all the more imperative for our students to acquire this skill to stay in sync with life. Speaking in front of an audience requires not only the confidence but also relevant information which can only be gained by devoting time for it. Thus to enable our students to be good orators, a Declamation contest (English) was held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in the activity period for classes VI to X on the given topics:

1. Class VI

      a. Parents are the best friends of teenagers.

      b. Grandpas and Grandmas are not just nannies.

2. Class VII

      a. The power of gratitude and positivity.

      b. True wisdom comes from experience.

3. Class VIII

      a. Rapid industrial growth has caused a spike in natural disasters.

      b. Success comes through discipline and hard work.

4. Class IX

     a. Significance of gratitude and empathy in relationship.

     b. Staying focussed in the world of relationships.

5. Class X

     a. Value of goal setting and planning.

     b. Role of AI in the future.

 This activity was conducted under the aegis of Niti  house incharge Mrs Gagan and her team of  teachers. All the participants came  well prepared which was evident from the way they took the mike with aplomb. It was a well organised  activity that was also appreciated by our highly respected Director Principal Veena ma’am.
