HINDI DIWAS CELEBRATIONS

Hindi Diwas is celebrated to commemorate the date 14 September 1949 on which the drafting committee of the constituent Assembly decided unanimously  to make Hindi as the official language of India.

To mark the importance of country’s most widely spoken language, a special assembly was conducted where our most honourable Director-Principal, Mrs. Veena Chopra congratulated everyone on this special day. Besides, Mrs. Smita Sharma of Hindi department very gracefully apprised the importance of our mother tongue -Hindi. She also enlightened that Hindi Diwas serves as a reminder of the contributions made by writers, poets, and scholars who have enriched the language through their literary works. Arnav of class V recited a beautiful poem motivating  the students to feel proud of their language.
