DUSSEHRA CELEBRATIONS

Dussehra, one of the most important festivals celebrated all over India marks the victory of good over evil. The festival is observed on the 10th day of Ashwin month. To mark the celebrations of the day, a special assembly was conducted where hon’ble Ma’am Veena Chopra- the Director Principal of our school wished the students to embrace the strength of truth and virtue which would always help them to come out victorious. Ms. Tanu Chandhok of Commerce department enlightened the students about the prominence of the festival. She also apprised that Dussehra teaches us the timeless lesson that good always triumphs over evil. In the story of Ramayana, Lord Rama defeated the demon king Ravana, symbolising that no matter how powerful evil may seem, righteousness and truth will always win in the end. Moreover, this valiant fight of Lord Rama imbibes in us the virtues of patience, perseverance, and faith in oneself.
