DIWALI CELEBRATIONS

Diwali, a major Indian festival, is celebrated all over India, symbolises the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. To mark the celebrations, a special assembly was conducted where our most revered Mrs. Veena Chopra- the Director Principal of our school wished everyone a safe, healthy and prosperous Diwali. She appealed to have a pollution free and crackerless Diwali so that we can contribute in controlling the pollution which is enveloping our country at very fast pace.  Ms. Gagan also enlightened the students about the significance of the festival emphasising the values like kindness, generosity and empathy. She also laid stress that Diwali celebrations foster a sense of community responsibility towards environment and cultural learning. An eco-friendly message was also shared encouraging the students to celebrate without  crackers.
