Gurupurab is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev ji. The students of classes I to V celebrated the day with great devotion and reverence. A serene and calm atmosphere was created by the soothing shabads sung by the budding singers in the classes. They watched a movie ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’ based on the life of Guru Nanak Dev ji’ spreading his divine message of harmony, humility and equality. The celebration was marked with great zeal and fervor.
