A heartfelt tribute was paid to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the ninth Guru of Sikhs on his martyrdom day that falls on Sunday, 25 November. He sacrificed his life to protect the religious symbols and rights of others, showcasing his extraordinary stand against oppression in the face of tyranny. In a special assembly today, our honourable Director Principal- Mrs. Veena Chopra paid her respects to Guru Sahib ji. She emphasised that we must believe and follow the principles of Guru Sahib i.e. faith, compassion, and the pursuit of spiritual wisdom. Ms. Rekha Gupta from English department enlightened the students about the life of Guru Teg Bahadur ji. She elucidated that Guru ji is revered as a symbol of selfless sacrifice, spiritual enlightenment, and unwavering commitment to the principles of human dignity and freedom. His life and martyrdom remain an enduring source of inspiration for millions.
