Athletic Meet 2024

The Annual Athletic Meet of Springfields Public School was held today i.e. 23 November 2024 with great enthusiasm and energy. The meet was declared open by Mrs. Madhu Sawhney - the Director of the school. She hoisted the flag and took the salute. The day commenced with a vibrant march-past led by the School captains and various house leaders.The meet featured a wide range of track and field events, including sprints, relays, long jump and shot put showcasing the skills and dedication of the participants. Special highlights included Tug of War. The meet also highlighted the most mesmerising spectacle of Aerobics, Drill and Yoga performances. The Sports Meet was also attended by Mr. M. S. Sawhney, the President of the school. Besides, Mr. Vishal Chhibber - Superintendent of Police(IPS) - Jails, graced the occasion as the special guest.The audience cheered as the athletes ran the races with integrity and determination. The day concluded with an award ceremony where the Dignitaries of the day honoured the winners of various events with medals and certificates. Shanti House with their consistent performance and teamwork, was declared the overall champion of the meet. March Past trophy was also bagged by Shanti House. The Director Principal- Mrs. Veena Chopra presented the vote of thanks. She congratulated all the participants and thanked everyone for their efforts in making the event a grand success. The meet ended with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired.
