Veer Baal Diwas Celebration

December 23-24, 2024

Our school commemorated the martyrdom of the Chaar Sahibzade , the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji , by observing Veer Baal Diwas from December 23-24,2024. The significant events were marked with enthusiasm and reverence.

A special assembly was held on  Tuesday wherein our Director Principal Veena ma’am gave a poignant speech highlighting the supreme sacrifice of the Chaar Sahibzade . It was followed by another speech by Ms. Simran Aulakh, English dept. , in which she emphasised the values of courage, loyalty and commitment that they embodied. A group song was sung by the young students of classes vi-ix to underline the importance of self respect and loyalty towards the nation.

To encourage  students to learn more about the highly esteemed Sahibzade various cultural functions were also organised like essay writing, painting, storytelling as well as debate competition for the students of different classes. The events were centred on the theme as suggested by the CBSE circular no. Acad - 107/2024 dated December 20/12/24. These were:

     1. My Dream for India.

     2. Role of Children in Nation

         Building.

     3. My Vision for a Vikshit 

          Bharat.

Our students as well as the teachers felt proud to have been part of this significant event and look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
