Baisakhi is an occasion of tremendous joy and festivity. In a special assembly today, Gurnoor Singh of class IX recited a beautiful poem on Baisakhi, and Mrs. Pooja Malik of the Computer department apprised the students about the significance of the festival. She made the children aware that the festival is celebrated to mark the onset of the harvest season. It is also an auspicious day as Khalsa Panth was founded by Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1699 on this very day. She further paid tribute to the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh who sacrificed their lives for the country. She also wished everyone a happy B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti and motivated all to stand for equality, liberty, and fraternity—the three principles of the Indian constitution.Director Principal Veena Mam extended her heartfelt blessings to the students and encouraged them to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and social justice.
