Springfields Public School, Yamuna Nagar  conducted a disaster management mock drill for students in grades 5-12 to prepare them for emergencies like earthquakes, fires, and floods. The drill aimed to Spread awareness about disaster management ,build confidence and enhance response to emergencies. Director Principal, Ms. Veena Chopra, briefed students and teachers on emergency exit plans, evacuation routes, and essential dos and don'ts. Teachers received advance instructions to ensure a smooth drill. The drill was initiated with a thrice-continuous hooter signal. Students quickly evacuated the building through four designated passages which are main staircase, staircase near the school office, O.T gate and staircase near the main stage Teachers and admin staff supervised the students during the evacuation. After the drill, students reflected on the experience, recalling key steps to take during natural disasters. They discussed the drill's objectives and what they learned from the exercise.
