BUDDY READING

“Books are the plane and the train, and the road. They are the destination, and the journey. They are a home.”

Teaching children to love reading is a beautiful gift they can carry with them throughout their lives. Reading ignites their imaginations, gives them a sense of a bigger world around them and makes them critical thinkers.

To inculcate the reading habit and improvise the learning ability of the children, Buddy Reading activity was conducted on July 7, 2023. It is a great way to help a child gain fluency. Children read aloud to one another taking turns in reading a sentence, a paragraph or a page. Students were appreciated for the accurate reading. Students gained new vocabulary words and really enjoyed doing this activity with their buddies.
