PARTITION HORRORS REMEMBERANCE DAY
A special assembly was conducted today to mark the PARTITION DAY of our country. Ms. Rekha Gupta enlightened the students about the significance of 14 August which is marked as the Partition Day of our country. It is also called as the Black Day when India was divided into two states - India and Pakistan. The horrors of partition are unforgettable and still haunt many of us. Alongwith, related posters and pictures were displayed and children were also shown a movie to make them know that freedom they are enjoying was not served in a gold platter rather our brave hearts had to face lots of atrocities and struggles to earn it. We must value and honour their sacrifices and always glorify the spirit of patriotism.
