PEER READING

Reading is very important and priceless. It keeps our mind active and healthy. To improvise reading skills of the students and to make it more fluent and accurate ‘peer reading’ activity was conducted on 1 September 2023. Children enjoyed this activity a lot. They read aloud to each other in pairs. Fluent readers were paired with less fluent ones, so that they can improve their reading skills. Students were appreciated frequently for correct reading. They were monitored and supported. Through this activity students came across new words which added on to their vocabulary. They could also realize the importance of reading good books.
