DUSSEHRA CELEBRATIONS

Dussehra is the most auspicious festival celebrated across India. It is believed that on this day Goddess Durga eliminated the demon, Mahishasura from the earth and on this very  day only Lord Rama got victory by killing the demon King Ravana. In a special assembly today, Ms. Vijaylaxmi enlightened the students about the significance of the festival and its basic essence that it disseminates to every individual. She also said that Dussehra festival commemorates the victory of good over evil, truth over lies and light over dark. It shows us the importance of truth and righteousness.
