April 7 of each year marks the celebration of World Health Day. Since its inception in 1948, the celebration has aimed to create awareness of a specific health theme to highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization(WHO).

The World Health Day theme this year is: 'My health, my right'. It reaffirms that health is a right for all people, not a luxury.

As a part of World Health Day, several health activities were conducted in the school. The students of Class IX and X participated in the Intra Class Debate on ‘Healthy Food v/s Junk Food”. They expressed their views in favour and against the topic. The thoughts that they shared were quite informative and eye openers for all. Meditation, Aerobics and Yogasanas - vajrasan, Taadasan etc. - were conducted for classes VI and VII students. On the other hand a motivational presentation was shown to  class VIII children to adopt healthy eating habits and lifestyle so that they can all enjoy their lives to the fullest, reminding them all, the dictum “Healthy mind exists in a healthy body”.
