INTERNATIONAL LABOUR DAY

To mark the significance of International Labour Day that is celebrated on May 01 every year, a special assembly was conducted where our Director Principal, Mrs. Veena Chopra apprised the students to have dignity of labour and that there is no work which is inferior. What matters the most is hard work that is put in by every worker whether a helping staff or the head. She further added that we must be respectful and humble to the helping workforce whether in school or at home. Ms. Kanwalpreet Kaur of English department also enlightened the students about the significance and history of Labour Day. She talked about the purpose of celebrating this day that is to recognise the spirit and dedication of countless workers who built our homes, our roads, our cities and our nation with their own hands and it is our responsibility to honour and respect the workforce that keeps the world moving.
