THE CELEBRATION WEEK
This week, from 18 April to 23 April' 22 was a week of international celebrations. Monday, 18 April is celebrated as WORLD HERITAGE DAY, Friday, 22 April is observed as WORLD EARTH DAY and Saturday, 23 April is celebrated as WORLD BOOK DAY. To mark the significance of these days and to enlighten the students, Special Assembly was conducted on each day. Ma'am Rama Mehta aprised the students about the World Heritage Day. India is a country of rich heritage and how our culture and heritage play a vital role in our life. She also said that heritage is our root on which the tree of our existence is lourishing. Yuvraj of Class IX talked about World Earth Day ?. It is our ethical responsibility to preserve the environment of our motherland Earth. Our existence depends on the healthy survival of Earth. We need to endeavor hard for the sustainable development of our ailing planet. Ma'am Rekha Gupta spoke about the importance of Books ? in our life. Why these books are our best friends and they prove to be our most loyal companions even during the dark phases of our life. She motivated the students to read books not only to enrich our knowledge but also to groom our personality and for the know - how of living our lives.
