Mother's Day

To commemorate Mother's Day, which is celebrated all over the world on the second Saturday of May every year, a soul stirring speech was given by  Ms. Anju ma'am . She highlighted the importance of mother in our life --they are next to God only. Mother is a vast word that incorporates not only our biological Mother but also our Motherland. It is said that Motherland stands higher than even the Heavens above. She also acknowledged our Veena ma'am who has always guided us, cared for us akin to mother. Later our music teacher Sandeep sir sang an emotional song as a tribute to our mother and motherland. Finally Veena ma'am blessed us all and prayed for our wellbeing. It was indeed a poignant moment for all of us.
