Eco- Friendly Diwali Celebration with parents

The best inheritance a parent can give his child is a few minutes of his time each day.

Role of parents in a child’s education is to participate in his child’s activities, to give him the feeling that he is being supported. This makes him feel more confident about himself. Parents involvement and intervention in the child’s day to day life lay the foundation of better social and academic skills. School, teachers and parents play a vital role in the holistic development of a child. Parents are the first mentor of the child and the teacher is the second.

On the eve of Diwali, Parents were invited to school on 27, 28 and 29 September to show their hidden talents. They made beautiful torans, rangoli with flowers and narrated stories related to Diwali. Parents were appreciated and applauded by Ma’am Veena Chopra, Director Principal. The children also felt overwhelmed and it was a moment of pride for them having their parents commended for their fabulous job of participating in Diwali activities.
