REPUBLIC DAY AND BASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATIONS

26 January holds a very vital place in the history of India as on this day in 1950 our constitution cameinto being and not only this even the hostoric PURAN SWARAJ was also declared by the Indian National Congress in 1930.

To mark this day where the whole country is decked up in tricolour, our school also celebrated with a special assembly where Ms.KanwalpreetKaur enlightened the students about the significance of the day and how it is celebrated. Besides, co-incidentally this year the festival of BASANT PANCHAMI also falls on the same day. So, the students were also made aware of the different ways of celebrating the festival of blossoming and that it is also the Birthday of Goddess Saraswati, an apostle of knowledge, light and truth.
