Gandhi Memorial Day, a day when the entire nation remembers Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of our Nation, with deep respect and gratitude for his supreme sacrifice for the unite Indian against all odds.

On 30 January, our school observed one- minute silence as a mark of respect for him at 11 o’clock as a mark of respect to him. Children of Classes I to V were shown a documentary of Mahatma Gandhi’s life to pay tribute to him. The documentary highlighted his life, values and contribution to India’s freedom struggle. It emphasized the importance of truth, non – violence, simplicity and unity.

Students watched documentary with great interest and respect. The screening helped them understand the relevance of Gandhiji’s ideals in today’s world and inspired them to follow his principles in their daily lives.
