Basant Panchami (22 January 2026)
Basant Panchami is a major Indian festival that is celebrated all over India with vitality and hope. To mark the celebration, a special assembly was conducted in which where our most revered Veena Ma’am wished everyone a happy Basant Panchami. Ms. Prem also enlightened the students about the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the divine embodiment of knowledge and wisdom.
Observed in the months of January or February, this festival reflects the golden hues of ripened mustard fields and the vibrant energy of nature in bloom. She encouraged the children to welcome the season with positivity for the betterment of society and the nation.
Students of Classes I to V actively participated in the celebration. The celebration began with Saraswati Vandana. Students offered flowers and sought blessings for good learning and success. The little ones showed their creativity by making beautiful kites & colourful sunflower using paper, colours & craft materials. Students also brought yellow-coloured food in their tiffins.
The school campus looked bright and cheerful with yellow decorations. Everyone enjoyed the day and took home happy memories.
