Earth Day (22 April 2026)

“To care for the Earth is to care for our future.”

To mark Earth Day, a special assembly was conducted at Springfields Public School to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the need for sustainable living. The significance of the day was effectively presented by Bhoranshi of Class X Pink, a member of the Eco Club, who emphasized the importance of maintaining harmony with nature and adopting eco-friendly practices in daily life.

To further engage students, a badge-making activity on the theme “Save Mother Earth” was organized for Classes IX and X, allowing them to express their ideas through creative designs and meaningful messages. The importance of conserving natural resources was reinforced, inspiring students to take small yet significant steps towards a cleaner and greener future.

A thoughtful message was shared by Director Principal Veena Ma’am, who encouraged everyone to become responsible stewards of the environment and to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives. She emphasized that collective efforts, even in small ways, can lead to meaningful change.

The assembly concluded with the thought:

“The Earth does not belong to us; we belong to the Earth.”
