A special assembly was organised on 2 October 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, two eminent leaders who hold a special place in the history of India.

In her inspiring address, Manmeet Ma’am highlighted the significance of the occasion and spoke about Mahatma Gandhi’s unwavering commitment to truth, honesty, service, and non-violence. The life and values of Lal Bahadur Shastri, India’s second Prime Minister, were also remembered. His famous slogan, “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan,” reflected his deep respect for both the soldiers who safeguard the nation and the farmers who feed it.

A heartfelt poem dedicated to Lal Bahadur Shastri was presented by Anahita Raghuvanshi of Class IV-Y, highlighting his honesty, simplicity, and patriotic spirit.

Finally, the special assembly concluded with an inspirational speech by our Director Principal, Veena Ma’am, who exhorted the students to follow the path laid by these true stalwarts of our country.
