Saturday Activity: "We Are One World" (24 October) UNO Day

The students of Classes VI–X participated in activities celebrating the theme “We Are One World.” Classes VI–VIII created typography posters highlighting the values of peace, unity, equality, and human rights, inspired by the Preamble of the United Nations Charter. Classes IX–X participated in house-wise group presentations representing China, the USA, Russia, and Japan, focusing on global challenges such as climate change, sustainable development, poverty, global security, and the water crisis.

The activities promoted creativity, teamwork, global awareness, and responsible citizenship, reinforcing the message that international cooperation and unity are essential for building a peaceful and sustainable world. Director Principal Dr. Veena Ma’am congratulated the students on their enthusiastic participation and commended their thoughtful posters and presentations. She motivated them to imbibe the values of peace, unity, and mutual respect in their daily lives, reminding them that as global citizens, their small efforts today will contribute to a better tomorrow. She encouraged them to remain curious about world affairs and to work together with compassion and responsibility towards building a peaceful and sustainable world.
