Celebrating the Festival of Lights: Hands-On Diwali Craft Activities
Diwali is a festival of joy, togetherness, and creativity. To bring the festive spirit alive on campus, our school organized a special Fun-Filled Diwali Activity Day on November 4, 2026, under the guidance and inspiration of our Director Principal, Ms. Veena Chopra.
The event provided students with a wonderful opportunity to showcase their artistic talents, explore traditional crafts, and enhance their creativity, geometrical understanding, and fine motor skills through a variety of hands-on activities. These included Thali Decoration, Diya Making, Paper Lantern Making, Paper Rangoli, and Toran Making.
Our Director Principal, Veena Mam, encouraged students to spread happiness and share the joy of the festival by extending a helping hand to the underprivileged and destitute through donations of clothes and food items. She also inspired them to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali by lighting diyas, creating beautiful rangolis, and avoiding firecrackers, thereby contributing towards a cleaner and greener environment.
The activity was a delightful blend of creativity, experiential learning, and social responsibility, making the festive celebrations truly meaningful and memorable.
