World Heritage Day (18 April 2026)
World Heritage Day is celebrated on April 18 to spread awareness about preserving the history, diversity, and legacy of world heritage sites and monuments. This day marks an understanding of our rich culture and tradition.
To mark the occasion, a special assembly was conducted. Mrs. Uma Bali of the Social Science department enlightened the students about the rich heritage of our country, its importance, and the need for its preservation. Our honorable Director Principal, Mrs. Veena Chopra, in her message, urged the students to preserve monuments and cherish them as they tell the stories of the past.
An enriching activity for classes I to V, titled “Heritage Highlights on Screen,” was organized to commemorate the spirit of cultural awareness and historical appreciation among students.
Students from classes vi to x made beautiful models of monuments from different regions of India and also mentioned their richness and contribution in making our history meaningful.
